BeAScout.org - a new Recruiting Tool!

E-mail Print PDF

BSA has taken the wraps off of http://www.beascout.org, a new website to help prospective members find new units in your area.  It works like this:  the registered leaders for your unit log into scouting.org.  On the left, under the link to training, is a link to BeAScout.  Once there, you can select which leader information or other information will be displayed when someone searches for a unit, as well as any special notes or even your own custom icon.

Once your information is there, when someone searches on beascout.org, they will get a Google map with the unit locations marked with a small icon, similar to what our district site used to do.
