E-mail Print PDF

This Saturday there is a great opportunity for Scouts in the Tonkawa District to strut their stuff!!

The city of Lewisville will conduct its second annual United States Flag Retirement ceremony, Saturday, May 19. The event will be held at 1 pm on the plaza of the MCL Grand Theater. This public event will include Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, members of the Lewisville Police/ Fire Departments and members of the United States Military.

All scouts are highly encouraged to take part in the ceremony. Please arrive between 11:00-11:15 to begin rehearsing with the military/ police honor guards. Dress is Class A’s.

This is a great community event and should involve as many young men as possible.

I thank each and every one of you for your continued dedication to Scouting in the Tonkawa District.  Now let’s have a great turn out on Saturday!

Yours in Scouting,

Cody St. John  |  Tonkawa District
